Binance has announced the rebranding of their two blockchains, the Binance chain and Binance smart chain to BNB Chain (Beaconchain).
The reason for this is to remove the company's name from the Blockchain which crypto enthusiast has critiqued to be a more centralized blockchain compared to others like Eth.
According to Binance, the new name of the ecosystem will now be beacon chain.
Binance also added that the new block chain will lead better innovation in the crypto space and will be one of the best ecosystem for both NFT, DeFi and Metaverse projects.
